Marco Di Domizio is a teaching fellow in Economics at the Faculty of Political Sciences – University of Teramo (Italy) – where he teaches Sports Economics on the first degree course in Sport and Tourism Sciences. He gained his PhD at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ in 2001 discussing a thesis on informal sector, tax evasion and growth. In the last years his interest has concentrated on sports economics, particularly on Italian football. Several field have been explored such as competitive balance and TV audience, attendance and its relationships with economic, social and sport factors.
