Michael Nicholson

Michael Nicholson is an economist with over 15 years professional experience in government, consulting, and academia, currently serving as a foreign service economist with the US Agency for International Development. He has provided consulting or research contributions in over a dozen countries and lived as a long-term resident adviser in Armenia and Liberia. He has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed publications and over 20 articles in general-interest periodicals on subjects including: antitrust/competition policy; intellectual property rights; international trade; and economic development, and has taught economics, law, business, and political philosophy at Colorado, Georgetown, Transylvania, Kentucky, Maryland, and the American University of Armenia. Dr. Nicholson is also a passionate supporter of Kentucky Wildcats basketball.
